The role: As a Vehicle Appraiser you will be working together with the sales team, to make the process of part-exchanging a vehicle an easy and convenient experience for the Customer. You will enjoy and be confident talking to our customers and delivering used car valuations with passion and understanding with your newly found knowledge.

What you will do:

  • Greet Customers in a professional and confident manner.
  • Complete a thorough and accurate appraisal of potential part exchange vehicles using an auction valuation app.
  • Review the MOT and Service History of potential part exchange vehicles.
  • Obtain online retail valuations for those vehicles qualifying as retail vehicles.
  • Obtain online auction valuations for those vehicles qualifying as auction vehicles.
  • Liaise with Sales Managers to upload part exchange valuations onto the Company’s internal dashboard system.
  • Receive and process incoming part exchange vehicles from the Handover Team.
  • Move incoming part exchange vehicles into the correct designated areas.
  • Scan all vehicle documents onto the internal system.
  • Liaise with Senior Branch Management to arrange for the collection of part exchange vehicles from site.

About you: Ideally you will have come from a retail sales or customer service background and be looking for an exciting challenge in the automotive industry. You will be a keen learner, who is resourceful and wanting to expand your knowledge.

  • A current full UK driving licence

  • Ability to work well under pressure
