Take Big Mamma’s brand to new heights in Manchester and Birmingham! We’re looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to lead local campaigns, partnerships, and activations that make our restaurants impossible to ignore.
At Big Mamma Group, we celebrate authentic Italian food, creativity, and fun in every corner of our restaurants. Our Communications team drives brand awareness, social media, PR, and local marketing across the UK & Ireland. You’ll be at the heart of it for Manchester and Birmingham, helping us build community, grow engagement, and make every campaign as vibrant and memorable as our pizza.
Your Mission
Your mission is to boost Big Mamma’s visibility and community in press, marketing, and social across Manchester and Birmingham. You’ll work closely with the Head of Communications UK&I and the wider team to turn strategy into action, making sure all campaigns, partnerships, activations, and events hit the mark, drive engagement, and make a real impact on our local communities.
What You’ll Do
- Marketing & Branding
- Execute creative city-focused brand collaborations and partnerships, both local and global, aligned with key dates and campaigns.
- Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, website updates, CRM strategy, copywriting, and subscriber growth.
- Oversee physical marketing: promotional material, copywriting, in-house design collaborations, and incentivised activations.
- Maintain brand consistency across all touch points, from menus to uniforms.
- Support social media and photography, ensuring Manchester and Birmingham are well represented across channels, and manage external shoots when needed.
- Local Marketing & Events
- Build and maintain strong local networks with industry ambassadors, neighbours, offices, and key community partners.
- Plan and execute local events, from pop-ups and festivals to brand dinners and activations.
- Ensure a strong, engaging PR presence locally: draft releases, pitch creative stories, and maintain excellent relationships with journalists and PR agencies when needed.
- Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner with the Head of Communications and wider Comms team to deliver campaigns on time and on budget.
- Translate global and UK marketing strategy into localised, impactful activations.
- Monitor and report on marketing KPIs, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
About You
- Proven experience in marketing, communications, or PR, ideally in hospitality, lifestyle, or retail.
- Strong knowledge and relationships with Manchester's industry, cool crowd and people to know.
- Confident in digital marketing, social media strategy, CRM, copywriting, and brand activations.
- Creative, proactive, and able to generate innovative ideas while keeping projects on track.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work across multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and networking skills; you know how to get people excited.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Ideally living in or based near Manchester.
