For over a decade, we’ve been bringing bold Italian flavours, 100% homemade food and vibrant, high-energy kitchens to life across our restaurants worldwide. Our mission? We’re now looking for a Commis Chef - Hot Section to join our kitchen teams across our Central London restaurants.
The Role
You’ll be part of a BIG MAMMA kitchen team, working in the hot section and preparing our authentic Italian dishes from scratch. This is where energy, precision and teamwork come together during fast-paced services. You will:
- Prepare hot section dishes following our authentic recipes and kitchen standards
- Support the Chef de Partie and senior chefs during prep and service
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, organisation and food safety
- Work efficiently during busy services with a positive, proactive mindset
- Help create the best moment of our guests’ day through every plate

What We’re Looking For
- A big smile and real passion for Italian food
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef in a busy hot section
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Great energy and proactive attitude during service
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- High-volume kitchen experience is a plus, but attitude and drive matter just as much.
