Your Mission:
As our People Partner, you’ll be part of the AWESOME HR team and report to the Head of People. You will support our teams, drive engagement and retention, and contribute to creating a positive workplace. You will overlook the Birmingham site and a new opening in Manchester so mobility is a must .
What You’ll Do:
- People Partner: Offer confident guidance and support the management team on various people topics – from managing probation and incident investigations to giving constructive feedback and encouraging honest conversations.
- Recruitment: Be a proactive talent hunter! Build our family tree and ensure a steady stream of superb, culturally aligned candidates. Hire for tomorrow, not just today.
- Employee Engagement: Be the brand ambassador! Drive open communication, engagement, and recognition. Join monthly staff round tables and promote employee voice.
- HR Admin: Get all starters into our systems, maintain employee files, and keep our payroll organized and HR trackers updated.
Who You Are:
- You are passionate about people, don’t judge a book by its cover, and love coaching.
- You have at least two years of experience working in the HR departments in the hospitality business.
- You are a critical thinker who focuses on solutions, not problems, and goes the extra mile to make things happen.
- You communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing; you are open to sharing and receiving constructive feedback.
Our Offer:
- Location: London (you’ll need to be flexible to travel up North) or Birmingham (you’ll need to be flexible to travel up North and London)
- Annual salary: £42,000
- Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm (45hr)
- 36 days holiday (pro-rata)
