Your Mission:
As our Payroll and HR Data Admin, you will be at the heart of our HR operations, managing payroll processes precisely and delivering insightful HR reports to support our growth. You\’ll work with the Head of People (HR), the CFO (Finance), and the Fourth Bureau team ensuring accurate payroll calculations while shaping our strategy with data-driven analytics and supporting employees with payroll-related questions.
What You\’ll Do:
- Payroll Process & Reporting: Manage end-to-end payroll processes with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time. Maintain compliance with all UK legal and regulatory requirements, including holiday pay, deductions, and contributions. Follow up on set deadlines and crucial checks, addressing discrepancies promptly with the Fourth Bureau to ensure correct payroll calculations. Assist the CFO in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly P&L payroll reporting.
- HR Data: Deliver detailed regular HR reports on gender balance, staff turnover, and workforce analytics. Support recruitment, retention, and workforce planning initiatives through data-driven insights and recommendations. Collaborate closely with Operations and Finance teams to align payroll and HR data.
- Employee Support: Offer confident guidance and support to the restaurant teams on various payroll topics, from tax code issues to pension questions, SSP1 forms, and maternity leave management.
- Confidentiality & Precision: Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive payroll and employee data. Define missing processes and streamline repetitive tasks to enhance productivity.
Who You Are:
- You are passionate about numbers and love Excel/Google! You thrive on deadlines and structure and are a highly organised and reliable person.
- You have at least three years of payroll experience working with Fourth in the hospitality business in the UK.
- Your analytical mind can convert numbers into meaningful insights without missing the slightest detail.
- You are a proactive critical thinker who focuses on solutions, not problems, and goes the extra mile to make things happen.
- You communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing; you are open to sharing and receiving constructive feedback.
