Big Head Content is looking for a creative and motivated Video Editor to join our growing production company. In this role you will be responsible for editing content designed to capture attention, tell engaging stories and perform across multiple platforms. You will work closely with our production team to turn filmed content into polished edits. This includes ingesting footage to create visually stunning edits to wow clients and delivering multiple versions of content tailored for different formats, audiences and platforms. The work will be varied; one day you may be cutting a two-person interview whilst the next it may be a high energy promotional film.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling, social media content and creative editing and who wants to grow within a developing company. The role offers the chance to work on projects for a range of large hospitality clients including IHG and Hilton. As the company grows there will also be opportunities to develop your role and take on greater creative responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ingest footage and setup organised project within Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Edit social first films for hospitality clients across multiple platforms.
  • Optimise content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Meta and YouTube.
  • Apply basic colour grading, audio mixing and finishing to deliver polished edits.
  • Add captions, titles and basic motion graphics where required.
  • Work closely with the production team to select footage and shape final edits.
  • Organise and maintain video assets and project files for efficient editing and reuse.
  • Stay up to date with current social media trends, editing techniques and content formats.
Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in video editing.
  • Good skill level in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • A portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing skill.
  • An understanding of editing for different social platforms and aspect ratios.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a fast paced creative environment.
Nice but not essential
  • Knowledge of ingesting various video formats.
  • Good understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience editing social media content for brands, clients or commercial projects is preferred.
  • Understanding of how video content performs across TikTok, Instagram, Meta and YouTube.

Our team understands the unique rhythm of the hospitality industry and we pride ourselves on delivering professional and efficient productions that respect the workflow of the venues we work with while producing visually striking content.
