- You hold UK GCSEs or IGCSEs (overseas) in English and Maths (Grade 6/B or above). (Overseas or equivalent qualifications are not accepted due to industry and regulatory requirements)
- You have experience working with children in a commercial or structured education setting - private tutoring doesn’t count (e.g. tuition centre, afterschool programme, learning centre, holiday programme)
- You are able to work weekday evenings and Saturdays
- You can commute to Pinner within 45 minutes or are willing to relocate

The Role - Centre Manager
As Centre Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of our Pinner tuition centre. You will be the main point of contact for parents, support and develop a team of tutors and drive student enrolments while maintaining excellent educational and customer service standards. This is a replacement role within an established centre, supported by directors and fellow centre managers.

Key Responsibilities
- Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and students
- Lead parent consultations, progress discussions, and ongoing communication
- Organise and manage the smooth running of the centre
- Ensure high standards of educational delivery and customer experience
- Line manage and support tutors
- Coordinate rotas, training, and performance development
- Lead centre-based and departmental projects (e.g. resources, phonics, first aid)
Business Development & Enrolment
- Support retention, renewals, and referrals
- Work with colleagues to achieve centre growth targets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (2:2 or above) OR 2+ years' managerial experience within the education sector
- UK GCSEs in English & Maths (Grade 6/B or above) - mandatory
- Experience working with children in a commercial education environment
- Proven team leadership or staff management experience
- Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Willing to undergo Enhanced DBS and reference checks
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Some weekdays until 7:30pm (mandatory)
- Saturday daytime (mandatory)
- Sunday daytime (optional)
- Flexible shift design discussed and agreed mutually.
