Mechanical Assembly Technician

This role involves assembling and fabricating components using hand and power tools, as well as performing welding tasks. A solid understanding of basic maths is essential for precise measurements and calculations.

Ideally ability to read CAD/Solid Works drawings. This would possibly suit someone who has done a mechanical degree/HND and looking for their next opportunity.\\n\\nResponsibilities\\n\\n * Assemble and fabricate components according to engineering drawings and specifications.\\n\\n * Load testing and testing mechanical handling equipment\\n\\n * Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.\\n\\n * Interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate assembly.\\n\\n * Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.\\n\\n * Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.\\n\\n * Checking incoming goods and completing inspection paperwork.\\n\\n * Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\n * Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations.\\n\\n * Hold a valid FLT license would be an advantage, although not essential.\\n\\n * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.\\n\\n * Familiarity with sheet metal work is an advantage.\\n\\n * Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.\\n\\n * Ability to assemble components accurately based on technical specifications.\\n\\n * Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.\\n\\nIf you are a motivated individual with the skills necessary for this role, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dedicated team.\\n\\nGreat hours of work, Monday – Friday between 7.15am – 3.45pm, and an early finish on a Friday of 12.30pm.
