Big Fish Little Fish are a key player in Geotechnical Recruitment, and we are currently working with some great industry specialists. Due to large contracts secured and new opportunities, we are now needing to recruit Geologists/Site Engineers.
Primarily this role will include implementing and organising the projects in the field as well as the office. Day to day, the successful candidate will be accountable for field-based logistics including ensuring that the project specification is followed, correct equipment is used and maintained on site, and also correct health & safety procedures are followed. All technical site work is carried out to a high standard, safely, on time, and within budget.
Offer a high level of project management on site, covering execution of ground investigation. Be able to liaise between the office and site location. Liaise with the end client as and when required. This role is totally site-based, with a strong focus on overseeing, supporting the site, and working to set quality expectations, and follow core audit procedures.
This role is ideal for someone who has been a geotechnical geologist/engineer and is ready for their next opportunity, maybe with a little more responsibility. Ideally, the successful candidate will have been working within this arena for a minimum of 2 years, along with possessing a relevant degree, ideally BSc in Earth Science, Geology or similar. The successful candidate must be able to drive, holding a full manual driving license.
