We seek a Business Development Manager to join our highly motivated team with great expansion plans. The ideal candidate is required to have experience in digital marketing (preferably SEO), along with previous sales experience.
This position will require working within our sales team, and working closely with our marketing team and directors. The individual we seek will have the following experience and be confident to help deliver the company's expansion plans:
- Qualify and close inbound leads and engage with business opportunities by utilising various channels, such as emails, phone calls, LinkedIn, conferences, and networking events.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships to ensure their satisfaction and drive repeat business.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets while delivering high-quality customer service.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create tailored proposals and marketing materials that effectively communicate the value of our services and align/advise on the customer needs.
- Attend industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to build brand visibility and establish new connections.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our digital marketing services, particularly SEO and link building, to effectively promote and sell our offerings to potential clients.
- Identify, qualify, and engage new business opportunities by phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outreach tools.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align messaging and strategies.
- Keep accurate records of activities, lead statuses, and follow-ups using our CRM.
2+ years of proven sales experience.
2+ years experience in digital marketing (focusing on SEO preferable).
Strong negotiation and closing skills, a results-driven mindset, and a passion for meeting and exceeding sales goals.
