This role would suit an experienced Assistant General Manager or a strong Restaurant Manager ready to step into a broader leadership role and support full site performance.
The Role – Assistant General ManagerAs Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting full-site operations in a high-volume, flagship environment
- Leading FOH teams and working closely with BOH
- Delivering exceptional guest experience
- Managing rotas, labour control and daily staffing levels
- Supporting P&L performance, driving revenue and cost control
- Stock control and operational efficiency
- Training, coaching and developing supervisors and team members
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and company standards
- Driving service standards, culture and team engagement
- Supporting the General Manager in overall site performance and decision-making
You will be a hands-on leader who leads from the floor, supports performance and sets the tone for service, energy and accountability.
What We Are Looking For- Minimum 2–3 years' experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant Manager
- Strong background in high-volume hospitality or casual dining
- Experience supporting P&L and managing labour and costs
- Ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial awareness and operational understanding
- Confident decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisational ability
- Passion for hospitality management and guest satisfaction
