Shift: Monday to Friday – Night Shift Midnight 00.00 to 09.30

Pay Rate: £12.92/h plus night shift premium £3.1 / £2.48 per hour

Start Time: Midnight

As a Biffa Van Driver the role holder will report directly to the Transport Manager and will be responsible for the professional and efficient collection, transportation and disposal of customers\’ waste, whilst adhering to health and safety and other company procedures.

Because the service is reactive and emphasizes providing excellent customer service, you will need to be flexible across weekdays with some weekend working to meet all customer requirements efficiently.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Professionally drive and operate vehicles as directed by the traffic office and transport operations manager, ensuring the efficient and effective collection, transportation and disposal of customers\’ waste.
• Undertake routine vehicle checks and report defects.
• Complete all paperwork, including daily timesheets.
• Carry out any other reasonable job-related tasks, including ad hoc tasks.
