Salary: £20.59p/h + Shift Allowance + £10.00 per week Tool Allowance

Hours: 10:00am – 19:30pm, Monday – Friday. Overtime & Call Out Available.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.
  • Carry out scheduled preventive service and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa's operator licence commitments.
  • The fleet ranges from light commercial vans to 44t articulated specialist assets, offering opportunities to learn and develop technical knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Full level 3 HGV/PSV apprentice qualification / City and Guilds / NVQ qualification Technician level
  • Minimum of a car/van driving licence (HGV licence desirable)
  • IRTEC qualification desirable
