b Overview /b p In this role you will support Biffa’s day-to-day social media activity, delivering audience-focused content across priority platforms. You will collaborate with the Strategic Communications team to support campaigns and enhance reputation, growth and community engagement. You will manage the social content calendar, work with varied stakeholders, and optimise content for reach and impact. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to shape integrated campaigns and partner with internal teams and external suppliers. You will be central to elevating Biffa’s digital storytelling and real-time communications. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Manage day-to-day activity across Biffas owned social media channels in line with calendars /li li Create, edit, and schedule tailored content to maximise reach and engagement /li li Support the delivery of integrated strategic communications and broader campaigns /li li Repurpose existing content across channels to extend value /li li Maintain the social calendar ensuring alignment with priorities and business objectives /li li Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify content opportunities /li li Coordinate photography, video, graphics and multimedia for social use with internal and external resources /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Degree-level education or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, journalism, digital media or related discipline /li li Previous corporate or agency B2B social media experience /li li Proven content creation across multiple social platforms /li li Experience supporting integrated communications or campaigns /li li Experience with social media scheduling, publishing and analytics tools /li li Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities /li li Strong digital skills; proficiency with Canva for visual content and Sprout Social (or similar) for management and scheduling /li /ul ul li Cross-functional collaboration /li li Stakeholder management /li li Proactive content ideation /li li Canva /li li Sprout Social /li li Social media analytics /li /ul
