The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Reporting into the Procurement Excellence Manager, the Procurement Systems Manager will be responsible for the integrity and visibility of spend data and reporting analytics into the Procurement Function. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining, identifying and implementing procurement technologies on the market to drive process improvements and automation for the function.

Your core responsibilities:

  • Record, manage and monitor department KPI’s and SLA’s.
  • Manage and maintain the supplier database and onboarding processes for the function.
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities within procurement data and systems, aligned with Biffa Governance and Procurement Policies.
  • Manage the integrity of the procurement spend cube, cleansing data with the Category Management Team for accurate reporting.
  • Responsible for system data accuracy and setting data standards and SOPs to improve integrity.
  • Support the Procurement Excellence Manager in formulating strategies in relation to communications on Procurement Policy and Governance to the business.
  • Maintain and promote usage of other Procurement systems, including e-RFX (and e-Auctions) and contract management systems.
  • Own the Procurement Systems training, ensuring the procurement function has the skillset to fully utilise Procurement Systems.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and digital transformation which can benefit Biffa and the procurement function.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and across the procurement team to positively impact business performance.

Our essential requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (formerly known as Dynamics AX), or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Experience of developing spend analytics and reporting tools for category management.
  • Experience in data migration, cleaning, system integration, and UAT testing is desirable.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes such as RFP/ERFX.
