We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Supervisor to join our team at Windwhistle Depot, Bodmin. Your role will be central to maintaining clean streets across Cornwall and ensuring smooth operations.

Core Responsibilities- Lead daily operational planning and deployment of the street cleansing team.
- Manage resources including vehicles, equipment, personnel, and materials.
- Oversee staff performance, conduct inductions, monitor attendance, and support development.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company policies.
- Support legal compliance related to Operator Licence requirements.
- Maintain detailed records and reports, such as logbooks and timesheets.
- Promote a safety-first culture, actively addressing unsafe behaviours.
- Act as Deputy for the Operations Manager when needed and prepare for future managerial roles.
- Proven supervisory experience with team leadership skills.
- Knowledge of street cleansing operations and local authority contracts.
- Proactive attitude with ability to perform under pressure.
- Strong communication, literacy, and IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Health & safety awareness and practical understanding of large vehicle operations.
