Days of work: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, repeat
Start and finish times: 8am β 8pm / 8pm β 8am
Salary: Β£27,300 + 5% shift allowance
Role: to operate and monitor machinery including a Forklift (training is provided) to a safe and satisfactory standard, communicate any problems or obstacles to immediate supervisor, strive to reduce waste and increase productivity across all lines and support your shift colleagues in achieving excellence in health and safety, product quality, asset performance and employee engagement on shift.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage waste sorting and recycling operations, adhering to environmental compliance and safety standards
- Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance tasks on equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
