The People Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, delivering the people agenda that supports business growth and operational efficiency. The role requires a commercially focused HR professional to support the delivery of the People Strategy in a fast-paced, operational environment. This role is critical to aligning people priorities with business objectives, with a strong emphasis on talent development, recruitment, and organisational design.

Your core responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders to design and implement our People Strategy to enhance business performance.
  • Support in the delivery of large-scale TUPE transfers and deliver management of local consultation exercises (e.g., redundancies, pay negotiations, organisational change etc).
  • Drive the talent agenda to deliver tangible outputs by way of retention, promotion and ensure succession is well thought out and planned ahead.
  • Use people data and insight to influence decision-making and drive measurable outcomes and benefits to the business.
  • Lead complex change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience, ensuring a high-performing, engaged, and motivated workforce.
  • Develop and coach line managers to ensure effective people management, mitigating risks associated with ER activities.

Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand financial performance and translate business objectives into effective People strategies. Experience managing business change including redundancy and TUPE projects. Proactively identifies business risk and opportunity. Strong analytical mindset, with experience using People data and metrics to drive decision-making. Demonstrable experience of performance management, talent management and succession planning.
