Keenan Recycling, part of Biffa, provides food waste collection services for businesses including restaurants, hotels, care homes, hospitals, and prisons. We also collect food waste on behalf of waste management companies, brokers, and councils. Using high-end technology, we maximize food waste recovery by transporting it to anaerobic digestion plants, where it is converted into biogas for electricity, heat, or biofuel for transport.
The role of an LGV Driver involves collecting and emptying food waste wheelie bins on a multi-collection basis.
This is a physically demanding role requiring early starts and outdoor work in all weather conditions. It is ideal for those who enjoy working independently outdoors and want to make a positive impact on the environment and communities.
Duties include:
- Multi-collections of food waste wheelie bins
- Covering weekend work where applicable
- Performing additional duties as necessary
