Biffa is looking for a HWRC Operative to assist the public at our Household waste centre with recycling and waste.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Working with the public to maximise recycling on sites
- Manual handling items on site assisting the public with various waste and recycling
- Helping to ensure the site is clean and tidy at all times
- Be proactive in promoting and maintaining a safe and friendly working environment
Requirements:
- Experience in dealing with the general public
- Good people skills
- Experience in the waste industry helpful but not essential
- Will be required to work weekends
- Must have a full UK driving license
- Must have own transport
