HGV Technician – Joining Bonus of £1,500
Biffa Waste – Leicester Depot
Pay Rate: £19.95/h
Shift Pattern: 06:00 – 15:00 and 13:00 – 22:00 (Overtime & Call Out Available)
Schedule: Monday to Friday (45 hrs per week) some Saturdays when required.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.
- Carry out scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa’s operator’s licence commitments.
- Work with a diverse fleet ranging from light commercial vans to 44t articulated specialist assets, learning and developing technical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Full level 3 HGV/PSV apprentice qualification, City and Guilds qualification, NVQ qualification (fully skilled) or equivalent.
- Technician level experience.
- Minimum of a car/van driving licence.
- HGV licence desirable.
- IRTEC qualification desirable.
