The main purpose of the role is to process incoming and outgoing transactions at the weighbridge in Hespin Wood, Cumbria.
Your key responsibilities:
- Accurately weighing vehicles entering and leaving the site
- Ensuring correct paperwork is completed for incoming and outgoing loads
- Checking compliance of loads according to local operating procedures
- Ensure tickets are processed in compliance with the performance framework
- Complete basic tonnage reconciliations for waste leaving and entering sites
- Report running on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Maintaining the traffic management system and to ensure the safe operation of the site
- Ensuring vehicle turnaround times are adhered to or report delays
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Able to work across other sites when needed
Essential criteria for this role:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, meticulous attention to detail
- Previous experience on a weighbridge would be an advantage
