Description

We are looking to recruit a Senior Transport Planner in Wednesbury.

  • Starting salary of £35,000
  • 40 hours per week
  • 1 Weekend in 4 - On-call

You will effectively manage the day to day organisation of operations of the Depot through the allocation and basic routing of vehicles to ensure best in class service delivery to customers, ensuring health & safety standards are maintained, and ensuring environmental and O licence compliance.

Supporting employee engagement, continuous improvement in productivity and quality of service provision.

  • Your core responsibilities
  • Champion our “Safety First” culture.
  • Responsible for efficient day to day planning of the Northern Tanker fleet.
  • Ensure the business remains fully compliant with all DVLA / EU Drivers Hours Regs / working time directive legislation.
  • Ensure that all BIFFA compliance KPI are achieved on a Period by Period basis.
  • Conduct any type of performance management / disciplinary process as and when required.
  • Action customer enquiries in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and any breakdowns to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Seek continuous improvement in order to maintain operational excellence.
