Join us as a Process Engineer and drive efficiency, quality, and innovation on the shop floor. Optimise processes, apply lean principles, use data to reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement across production, engineering, and quality teams.
Your core responsibilities:
- Lead the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve product quality.
- Use data and analytics to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive fact-based improvements.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) to deliver continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to implement scalable process solutions.
- Create and maintain clear process documentation, SOPs, P&IDs, and tooling support for the shop floor.
- Ensure processes meet safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Lead or support projects including process changes, equipment upgrades, and new installations, on time and within budget.
- Design and modify processes to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other relevant discipline).
- Full, current UK driving licence.
- Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and principles.
- Managing process and lean improvement projects.
