We are looking for an experienced Regional Driver Development Coach to play a critical role in ensuring our drivers operate safely, compliantly, and efficiently across our diverse divisional fleet. This is a hands-on, people-focused role, ideal for someone passionate about developing drivers, improving standards, and making a measurable impact on safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Onboarding: Support the hiring process with pre-employment assessments and deliver a comprehensive 3-day Driver Induction aligned with standards and legislation.
- Ongoing Driver Training: Provide regular refresher and additional mode training to enhance driver skills and customer experience.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate driver competence and training records using Express Class.
- Post-Incident Support: Offer reassessment and retraining for drivers following incidents.
- Driving Performance Reviews: Regularly analyse driving data with management to identify and address support needs.
- Behavioural Interventions: Conduct targeted support for drivers requiring improvements in actions or behaviours.
- Continuous Improvement and Development: Enhance training delivery, optimise driver learning, and pursue personal professional development.

Requirements- Minimum 3 years of HGV driving experience, including multiple HGV modes.
- Valid Class 1 HGV licence, DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Valid ADR qualification with Waste vacuum tanker experience.
- Proven experience in driver training, and or transport roles.
- Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Strong working knowledge of driver legislation and health & safety requirements.
