Overview
Loader Operative – £12.47 per hour
Monday – Friday / 0600 START
40 hours per week + Overtime available
Working as part of a crew, you will be responsible for collecting bins, boxes and bags from householders and emptying them onto a waste collection vehicle and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
This is a physically demanding role and you’ll need to be comfortable with an early start each morning and happy working outside all year round in all weathers. This is a great job if you like to work outdoors in a role where you can make a difference to the local environment and communities.
Responsibilities
- Collect bins, boxes and bags from householders and empty them onto a waste collection vehicle.
- Carry out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
- Work as part of a crew; perform duties in all weather conditions.
