Hours of work: 9am–6pm (summer) / 9am–4pm (winter), 5 days across a 7-day rota
Bonus Opportunity: Earn up to an additional £560 per month through our performance-based recycling bonus scheme.

- We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) team in Somerset.
- As a Site Assistant, you’ll help residents dispose of their waste safely and efficiently, while ensuring we maximise recycling rates and maintain a clean, compliant, and customer-friendly site.
Your core responsibilities:
- Assist residents in the safe disposal and correct segregation of recyclable materials.
- Provide guidance and education to users about recycling best practices.
- Help ensure the site operates safely and remains clean, tidy, and compliant.

- Monitor and report equipment defects or site issues in a timely manner.

- Contribute to achieving site recycling targets and maintaining material quality.
