Hourly rate: £12.40
4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Summer hours (1st April – 30th September):
- Monday to Friday: 08:45 – 20:15
- Saturday: 08:45 – 19:15
- Sunday: 08:45 – 18:15
Winter hours (1st October – 31st March): 07:45 – 17:15 (7 days a week)
Biffa is looking for a HWRC Operative to assist the public at our Larkhall Household waste centre with recycling and waste.
Your core responsibilities:
- Working with the public to maximise recycling on sites.
- Manual handling items on site assisting the public with various waste and recycling.
- Helping to ensure the site is clean and tidy at all times.
- Be proactive in promoting and maintaining a safe and friendly working environment.
Our essential requirements:
- Experience in dealing with the general public.
- Good people skills.
- Experience in the waste industry helpful but not essential.
- Will be required to work weekends.
- Must have a full UK driving license.
- Must have own transport.
