Pay: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 4 on 4 off shifts, days & nights, 12 hours, 6am til 6pm / 6pm til 6am
A quick look at the role:
As a Site Operative, you will work as part of the plant Operations team to drive effective, timely and cost-effective waste operations on the recycle processing site.
Your core responsibilities:
- To work closely with other team members, Site Managers, Supervisors to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Policies, procedures, management systems and regulations.
- To monitor the drying floor for smoke and trigger the alarm if observed.
- To assist in hazard spotting activities.
- To assist the loading/unloading process of bins and skips and work within the waste process as required.
- To use equipment to assist recycling processes as required.
- To work closely with Fitters/Electricians and Site Manager on plant maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient running of site operations.
- To help clean and maintain plant and machinery onsite.
- To carry out general housekeeping.

- Flexible approach to working hours.

- Punctual.
- A good level of English is required as the working environment can be demanding.
- Previous experience of working on fast moving production lines is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.
