Your core responsibilities:
- To maintain H&S standards and performance on site.
- To assist in supervising the night shift team and running of the Ford Facility.
- Operate in a “hands on” role operating mobile and fixed plant as part of principle responsibilities.
- Monitor and review production teams to ensure continuous improvement.
- Reporting and recording deficiencies within the plant.
- Monitoring staff training and compliance and support the management of production teams.
- Liaise with the management team on the plants operational performance.
- To deputise in the absence of the Shift Leader – assume responsibility for the site.
- To liaise with external and internal customers in a professional manner.
Here’s what we require:
- Working knowledge of H&S, IOSH (Desirable).
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO accreditations and requirements.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc).
- Previous experience and knowledge gained in the waste sector (Desirable).
- Previous management/supervisor experience of working with large teams predominantly in Production/Manufacturing environments (Essential).
- A general understanding on engineering/mechanical principles (Desirable).
