We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Compliance Supervisor to join our municipal team, working across two local contracts to drive high standards and ensure full compliance with environmental, contractual, and health & safety requirements. This role will be working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday and covering both sites Crawley and Tandridge. This role will come with a company car.

Your core responsibilities:

  • Carry out CCTV, reversing, and on-site safety monitoring audits across operational teams
  • Conduct collections monitoring checks, including physical crew observations
  • Liaise daily with Operations Managers, Supervisors, and support teams to maintain high standards
  • Deliver LGV driver assessments for new starters and annual refreshers
  • Support and deliver additional training where required
  • Promote and enforce safe working practices, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
  • Challenge and stop unsafe behaviours, ensuring all concerns are followed up and resolved
  • Build strong relationships with Local Authority clients, attending meetings and supporting joint site visits
  • Contribute to business objectives, including identifying potential improvement and revenue opportunities
  • Complete all required training and undertake additional duties as needed within the scope of the role

Our essential requirements:

  • Class 2 driving licence
  • Experience driving vehicles up to Class 2
  • Experience supporting training, assessment, and development of individuals and teams
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • willingness and flexibility to travel between sites
