As a Corporate Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable, profitable growth focusing exclusively on 100% new business acquisition. Your expertise will be applied across vertical sectors, managing and securing contracts valued between £3.0m and £20m. Your core responsibilities
- Drive the overall strategy and execution of new volume and revenue growth within the FM/Public Sector, or Hospitality and Retail verticals
- Prioritise new business acquisition with a strong emphasis on developing long-term client relationships
- Lead high-value tender responses, managing internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation and crafting value propositions to presenting, negotiating, and handing over to the Corporate Account Management team
- Demonstrate a self-motivated approach to learning while collaborating effectively with a high volume of internal stakeholders
- Build and understand cost models using Excel to support all proposals
Qualifications and experience
- 3 years in a corporate sales role with a track record of securing high-value contracts (>£1M).
- Demonstrated success in fostering long-term business relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally (average deal lifecycle: 12-18 months).
- Clear evidence of creating compelling value propositions and delivering high-quality tender responses.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create and analyse business case profit and loss models.
