Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking. This is a physically demanding role, and you’ll need to be comfortable with early starts in the morning, happy working outside all year round and in all weathers. It is suitable for those who like to use their own initiative and lead teams outdoors, making a difference to the local environment and communities.
