Location: Littlehampton

Hours: Summer – 45 hours per week, Winter – 35 hours per week

Salary: £26,894 per annum

Working Days & Times: Thursday to Monday

Summer (HWRS): 8:45am – 6:15pm

Winter (HWRS): 8:45am – 4:15pm

A quick look at the role. As an Information Point Officer, you'll play a key role in keeping our recycling centre running smoothly while helping the public make greener choices. From advising visitors to ensuring waste is properly segregated, this is your chance to be a positive force for the environment.

Your core responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact, providing top-notch customer service.
  • Help visitors sort and recycle their waste effectively.
  • Monitor and redirect commercial and non-compliant waste.
  • Operate booking systems for designated sites.
  • Keep the site clean, safe, and running efficiently.
  • Promote recycling by ensuring waste is segregated wherever possible.
