Biffa is looking for a HWRC Operative to assist the public at our Blantyre Household Waste Recycling Centre with recycling and waste.
Your core responsibilities:
- Working with the public to maximise recycling on site
- Manual handling items on site assisting the public with various waste and recycling
- Helping to ensure the site is clean and tidy at all times
- Being proactive in promoting and maintaining a safe and friendly working environment
Our essential requirements:
- Experience in dealing with the general public
- Good people skills
- Experience in the waste industry helpful but not essential
- Will be required to work weekends
Essential:
- Must have a full UK driving licence
- Must have own transport
