You will effectively manage the day to day organisation of operations of the Depot through the allocation and basic routing of vehicles to ensure best in class service delivery to customers, ensuring health & safety standards are maintained, and ensuring environmental and O licence compliance.
Responsibilities

- Ensure best-in-class service delivery to customers.

- Plan daily operations of the Northern Tanker fleet.
- Ensure compliance with DVLA, EU Drivers Hours Regulations, and working time directive legislation.
- Achieve all BIFFA compliance KPI on a period-by-period basis.
- Conduct performance management and disciplinary processes as required.
- Respond to customer enquiries promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and breakdowns to maintain uninterrupted service.
- Seek continuous improvement to uphold operational excellence.
- Support employee engagement, continuous improvement in productivity and quality of service provision.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of transport industry, including the Road Transport Directive and current drivers' hours and working time directive.
- Competent in managing a diverse fleet of tanker vehicles.
