We are looking for a Shift Leader to supervise, lead, motivate and manage the shift production activities at Ipswich in line with company standards and health and safety requirements. To deputise and assume responsibility for the shift and site in the Site Manager absence. Monday to Friday £34,983 per annum 45 hours a week base. Your core responsibilities.

  • To ensure Health & Safety standards, policies and procedures are observed, maintained and reviewed.
  • Ensure quality standards are observed and maintained.
  • To monitor and assist shift performance and disciplines.
  • To assist in the achievement of operational and financial targets/KPI\'s
  • Promote and manage change.
  • To plan and supervise all members of staff on shift.
  • Work flexibly within the Masons MRF team covering other key roles such as the Production Supervisor/Control room/All Site Mobile Plant/QC/Weighbridge.
  • To report in a timely manner shift staffing and production reports
  • Our essential requirements.
  • Working knowledge of H&S, IOSH (Desirable).
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO accreditations and requirements.
  • Previous experience and knowledge gained in the waste sector (Desirable)
  • Previous management/supervisor experience of working with large teams predominantly in Production/Manufacturing environments (Essential)
  • A general understanding on engineering/mechanical principles (Desirable)
