Support weighbridge and meet & greet with issues that may arise during waste acceptance process.
Support site-based staff with operational issues, including covering breaks if required.
Ensure all defects to mobile plant and the site are reported in a timely manner.
Check & fill out core list check books – fire log, environmental log, team leader checks, ladder inspection, legionella checks – and daily checks on remaining site books (mobile plant, weighbridge) to ensure they are filled out correctly, plus weekly sign-offs.
Concern reporting, monthly SHEQ tours carried out, SOP and risk assessment inductions, toolbox talks and other communications to site team.
Maintain good waste levels; raise any issues on daily 08:45 stock update call.
Share best practices.
Suggest any new initiatives to improve recycling or site operation.
Ensure adequate staff coverage each week.
