Help us make a difference as a Shift Electrical Technician at our West Sussex MBT/AD facility. The role will include working reactively, dealing with machinery problems and breakdowns, as well as working through planned preventative maintenance and project work. The electrical work covers everything from sensors, relays, AC/DC motors, contactors, control panels and PLCs. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can fault find on PLCs, preferably Siemens S7, but anything else is considered.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar environment, so either manufacturing or industrial or automated, supporting maintenance work. You must be electrically qualified and competent. Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported immediately. Ensure housekeeping is maintained to high standards.
- Motor electrical and mechanical fault finding, familiarity with MCC layout of panels.
- Controls and Instrumentation (temperatures, pressure transducers, flow meters etc).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Electrical fault diagnoses.
- PLC hardware knowledge.
