Biffa Group is seeking a Shift Preservation Operator for the Derby site, on a fixed-term contract through 30 November 2026. The role operates on a 4 on 4 off 12-hour shift pattern (days and nights) with an hourly rate of £21.01.
You will preserve the MRF and ACT Gasification Plant, reporting to the Operations Engineer and Shift Team Leaders as required. The successful candidate will join a small team, carrying out daily, weekly and monthly preservation tasks to safeguard assets, maintain safety
