Casual Cook position in Arbroath!
We are recruiting a Casual Cook to work within our Retirement Housing with Meals development at Clyde Court.
Are you looking for a challenging role where you can learn new skills and deliver great food? Are you experienced in catering and managing dietary requirements?
The role of a chef/cook within our Clyde Court development is more than just cooking. You will be working with our team to provide a high quality of life for those that need it.
You will be -
- Responsible for the provision of a flexible meals service, offering high quality, freshly prepared meals and value for money to tenants in a retirement housing service.
- Assisting with the ordering, purchasing and storing of food commodities working within the food budget.
- Ensuring all food hygiene and health and safety standards set by Bield and where appropriate outside regulators are met and actively promote such standards within the development.
What We Offer
- Casual Assistant hourly rate is £14.07
- We pay 50% of the cost of Disclosure checks
- Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends
- No obligation to accept shifts so easy to fit in with personal commitments

- Valuable practical work experience in social and health care sector
