We have a fantastic opportunity for a Retirement Housing Manager at Baldwin Court. You should ensure tenants receive a quality tenancy management and property maintenance service relating to their home, communal facilities offering a welcoming, secure and comfortable environment to tenants and members of the public, and encourage tenant involvement and engagement in making full use of these facilities.

You should maintain service standards relating to individual properties and communal areas and ensure the scheme maintains a high level of cleanliness within all common parts undertaking a range of cleaning duties. Baldwin Court offers safe and secure homes designed especially for those aged 60 and over, who wish to retain their independence. Baldwin Court is situated in a pleasant area, a short walk from shops and a GP.

Hours of employment are 35 per week, organised as follows: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:00 pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break.

The Role: As a Retirement Housing Manager, you would ensure tenants receive a quality tenancy management and property maintenance service relating to:

  • the provision of their home,
  • communal facilities offering a welcoming, secure and comfortable environment to tenants and members of the public,
  • encouraging tenant involvement and engagement in making full use of these facilities.

Role Requirements: Excellent written, numerical and verbal skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with tenants, relatives, colleagues and other professionals are considered essential requirements for this position. Experience of working in housing, social care or health services or demonstrable personal or volunteer experience is essential, through which a thorough understanding of the needs of older people and services provided to older people has been gained.
