General Assistant Opportunity at our Oban Hub (mostly based at MacCallum Court). As an Assistant, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development. On occasion, the Assistant will be expected to clean vacant flats and/or external pathways of the development and provide general and emergency assistance to tenants, as required. In addition, you will respond to property emergencies, taking appropriate action when the Manager is off duty and providing cover for the development office as required. This role requires working flexibly across all developments within the local hub in line with service needs, ensuring continuity and consistency for our tenants.
Hours of employment are 15 hours per week, worked between Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm to meet needs across the Oban Hub which includes MacCallum Court, Lynn Court, and Torosay Court.
About You
Experience of a similar type of role would be an advantage but is not an essential requirement as training will be provided. You should bring to the role a genuine interest in working with older people and an ability to respond calmly to requests for assistance.
