Due to a growth in our care provision services, we have an exciting new opportunity for a number of Support Workers to join our team at Rockwell Gardens, Dundee.

Hours of employment

  • Several Full and Part time positions are available. Please include information on your preference in the Supporting Information of your Application. If successful, this will be discussed at the interview stage.
  • Weekly rota will be variable, including morning, evening and weekend working.

The Role

In your role as Support Worker, you will provide care and support to individuals in their own homes including:

  • Assisting with household tasks
  • Assisting and supporting with personal care, including intimate personal care
  • Medication prompting/ administering

About You

  • You will have good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You will have the ability and initiative to work on a lone working basis
  • You will have good time keeping, time management and organisational skills
  • You will hold an SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or have the ability and willingness to undertake this qualification
  • You will be required to obtain registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up the post
