Two Assistant - Independent Living Opportunities at our Cumbernauld Hub. As an Assistant - Independent Living, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development. On occasion, the Assistant will be expected to clean vacant flats and/or external pathways of the development and provide general and emergency assistance to tenants, as required. In addition, you will respond to property emergencies, taking appropriate action when the Manager is off duty and providing cover for the development office as required. This role requires working flexibly across all developments within the local hub in line with service needs, ensuring continuity and consistency for our tenants.
Vacancy 1 - 18.5 hours per week
Monday: 10am to 6pm
Tuesday: 9:30am to 2pm
Sunday: 10am to 6pm
Vacancy 2 - 27.5 hours per week
Monday: 9:30am to 2pm
Tuesday: 10am to 6pm
Wednesday: 9:30am to 2pm
Thursday: 10am to 6pm
Friday: 9:30am to 2pm
Other RHWM developments within the hub operate at 10am-6pm so you must be willing to be flexible to Hub needs, which may involve occasional weekend working. Cumbernauld Hub: Hillcrest Court and Campsie Gardens.
About You
Experience of a similar type of role would be an advantage but is not an essential requirement as training will be provided. You should bring to the role a genuine interest in working with older people and an ability to respond calmly to requests for assistance.
