The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our tenants with daily living tasks and encouraging their independence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with household tasks and routines
- Prompting or administering medication as required
- Promoting a warm, respectful, and inclusive environment
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Can work effectively on their own as well as part of a team
- Is organised, punctual and reliable
- Holds (or is willing to work towards) an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
- Is able to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of starting
- Experience in care is desirable but not essential – full training and support will be provided.
