Retirement Housing Assistant – West Dunbartonshire

We have a fantastic opportunity for a part‑time Retirement Housing Assistant to join the team at Bridge Court – West Dunbartonshire.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake a range of cleaning duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development.

On occasion, the Assistant will be expected to clean vacant flats and/or external pathways of the development and provide general and emergency assistance to tenants, as required.

In addition you will respond to property emergencies, taking appropriate action when the Manager is off duty and providing cover for the development office as required.

Hours of employment are 18 hours per week, organised over Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

An interest in working with older people and an understanding of their needs is essential.

Although relevant experience in a similar post is also desirable, it is not essential as induction and training will be provided.
