The role of a chef/cook within our Jamaica Court development is more than just cooking. You will be working with our team to provide a high quality of life for those that need it.

  • Hours of employment
  • 14 hours a week - 9:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the provision of a flexible meals service, offering high quality, freshly prepared meals and value for money to tenants in a retirement housing service.
  • Assisting with the ordering, purchasing and storing of food commodities, working within the food budget.
  • Ensuring all food hygiene and health and safety standards set by Bield and where appropriate outside regulators are met and actively promote such standards within the development.
