Independent Living Assistant Co-Ordinator Opportunity at our North Lanarkshire Hub (Campsie Gardens and Hillcrest Court).

As an Independent Living Assistant Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the effective day-to-day operation of Independent Living services across the local hub, ensuring services are well resourced, consistently delivered and aligned with organisational standards. Working closely with the Independent Living Co-Ordinator and wider team, you will help maintain consistent practice across all developments and ensure clear, effective communication within staff teams.

You will maintain regular contact with tenants to support their wellbeing, encourage social connections and identify any changes or concerns, taking appropriate action and informing others where required and with the tenant's permission. The role includes ensuring complaints or concerns are recorded accurately and escalated appropriately, promoting good practice across teams, and ensuring compliance with GDPR responsibilities.

This role requires working flexibly across all developments within the local hub in line with service needs, ensuring continuity, consistency and a high-quality experience for all tenants. You will assist with the smooth running of the meals service at Campsie Gardens. Hours of employment are 17.5 hours per week, worked between Monday - Sunday on a rota basis to meet needs across the North Lanarkshire Hub which is Campsie Gardens and Hillcrest Court. It's likely that this role will be over 2.5 days but this will remain flexible to suit the hub requirements.

About You

  • Relevant work experience within a housing management setting (or equivalent) with responsibility for day-to-day management of services and people.
  • You should bring to the role a genuine interest in working with older people and an ability to respond calmly to requests for assistance.
