Reward Director β Financial Services
Location: Hybrid (London & South East, 2 days/week)
Salary: up to Β£140k maximum, with 25% bonus and excellent benefits
Reporting to: Chief People Officer

Role Purpose
The Reward Director will lead all reward processes and activities, benefits, and related innovation and design. The position manages a small team and works closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the reward offering attracts and retains top talent. Working with the support of the CPO, this role is responsible for developing and delivering the reward strategy (policy, pay, benefits, incentives) to support both short- and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and communicate the organisational reward strategy, covering pay, benefits (including pensions), and HRIS frameworks.
- Deliver annual reward procedures: job evaluation, benchmarking, Equal Pay audits, Gender Pay reporting, annual pay and benefits review.
- Own and annually review the Remuneration Policy.
- Manage the RemCo process, including Board Paper preparation and presentation.
- Continually review and improve reward policies and practices.
- Design long-term incentive schemes and bonus plans.
- Provide reliable people data via HR Management Information systems.
- Maintain employee lifecycle controls and operational processes, ensuring compliance.
- Create transparency and understanding around reward through regular communication.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Recent experience Financial Services/FCA regulated environments.
- Strategic and operational reward experience at leadership level.
- Proven track record in implementing change.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
